OUR MISSION AND GOALS: |

| 1.
To help the less fortunate in society with material needs as those needs
are made known to our ministry.
2. To promote the gospel of Jesus Christ via writing into homes and via use of the internet when applicable. 3. To foster the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. These works include: spiritual works: sharing knowledge of our faith and God's unconditional love; counseling the doubtful on matters of faith and morals; comforting those who are suffering or grieving in some way; striving to be patient with God, self and others; forgiving those who hurt us and encouraging others to forgive as well; giving fraternal correction when necessary especially if someone is in danger of causing harm to themselves or others; by praying for the living and the dead; corporal works; feeding the hungry; giving drink to the thirsty; clothing those in need; helping those imprisoned; sheltering the homeless; caring for the sick; burying the dead. 4. To encourage "be a neighbor programs" among the local Churches and the local public, so that more persons may have an opportunity to share their gifts and talents with the less fortunate, recognizing our "common stewardship" endowed to us by our Creator. 5. To foster moral integrity, common decency, compassion and the mercy and forgiving love of God where issues regarding abortion, euthanasia, divorce, or homosexuality arise. 6. To promote social justice needs, especially for the elderly, handicapped, and for all those who do not enjoy a true share of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. |
